skin felt properly rough this week
Been out on the fells every day this week and honestly my face is paying for it. Sun, wind, sweating through two hours of running and then just... not drinking enough after. Classic.
I keep forgetting that summer dehydration isn't just about feeling thirsty mid-run. It shows up on your skin first I reckon — that tight, slightly dull look by mid-afternoon. I've started keeping a big glass of water on my desk as a reminder because apparently I need the visual cue like a toddler.
The collagen in my morning matcha helps a bit I think, or at least that's what I tell myself. But tbh the boring answer is just drink more water. Nothing clever about it.
